5.9-magnitude earthquake jolts KP, parts of Punjab

Various parts of the country were jolted by a 5.9-magnitude earthquake on Thursday with shocks felt in Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, and several areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Tremors were felt across a wide region of Pakistan on Thursday, including Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, and various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The most intense tremors were reported from Lower Dir, Bajaur, and Malakand, causing widespread panic among residents.

According to reports, strong shocks were also experienced in Nowshera, Dir Bala, Shabqadar, and Mohmand.

So far, there have been no reports of casualties or structural damage.
